How to Give

As a supporter of Placer Land Trust, YOU make it possible for us to conserve natural and agricultural lands, protect and restore wildlife habitat, offer outdoor recreational opportunities, and so much more for current and future generations!

Your support makes up a significant part of Placer Land Trust's annual budget, and can be leveraged to help us secure larger grant funds from private and public organizations. As a matter of fact, on average, Placer Land Trust can protect $8 worth of land for every $1 donated by members!

There are many ways to support Placer Land Trust's mission, and some methods are more "tax-smart", which may make it easier to give, or to give more, without impacting your family's budget. Find the way that works best for you, and make a BIG impact in our region!

  • Bequest
    You designate our organization as the beneficiary of your asset by will, trust, or beneficiary designation form.

    An old car, truck, motorcycle, boat, trailer, or other type of vehicle can be turned into a charitable donation that supports land protection through Placer Land Trust in one easy step! CARS will tow your vehicle at no cost to you, and will give you a donation receipt. CARS takes care of the rest and gives the proceeds to Placer Land Trust.
